Worship

Worship is the central action of the Christian Church.
From regular, Christ-centered worship everything else flows.

                EVERY SUNDAY WORSHIP: 10:15 AM
FIRST SUNDAY EVERY MONTH: 8:00 AM & 10:15 AM

HOLY COMMUNION is celebrated on the first and third Sunday's of the month; and at both services on the first Sunday of every month.  We believe in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the bread and wine of Holy Communion and teach that Christ is present for the forgiveness of sin and renewal of faith.

The 8 am service of the first Sunday is a shorter more informal service with greater variety in liturgy and hymns.

MIDWEEK SERVICES AND SPECIAL FEAST DAYS are celebrated according to the Christian Church year.

VCR TAPE MINISTRY: When it is difficult for members to attend church, members may request the worship service for each Sunday on Video tape.  The service is also rebroadcast over cable TV, channel 7, on Tuesday, 4:00 pm.  Call the Church Office (832-1343) for more information.

SUMMER TOURIST SERVICES AT PIONEER VILLAGE: Every summer, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 30 minute "non-denominational" worship services are conducted in the old St. Paul Church at Pioneer Village by clergymen from Kearney County churches.  (Our pastor conducts two of these services every summer.)  Services are from 11:30 am to noon.
